Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) to operate the service, remember your preferences and understand how the platform is used. You decide what gets set — you can change your consent at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used for everything from keeping you logged in to measuring how many people click a button. Similar technologies like localStorage and sessionStorage work in a comparable way and are covered by the same rules.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary: keep you logged in, remember language and consent choices, ensure forms can be submitted without loss. Set without consent because the service does not function without them. Functional: remember preferences such as theme (light/dark) and last-visited page. Set only with consent. Analytics: anonymised measurement of how the platform is used to improve it. Set only with consent. Marketing: not used today. If we adopt such cookies, we will update the list and request renewed consent.

3. Third parties

Supabase sets session cookies for authentication (strictly necessary). Vercel may set technical cookies for traffic management and security (strictly necessary). Sentry may set cookies for error tracking (only when enabled). We do not use third-party advertising networks or social-plugin cookies.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in or cause parts of the service to stop working. Most browsers have their own help page on cookie management.

6. Changes

If we adopt new cookies or change the purpose of existing ones, we update this page and request renewed consent where required. The date at the top shows when the page was last updated.
